Established in 1996 by three immigrants from Montreal looking to provide more delicious desserts for grocery, restaurant and hospitality providers. King’s Pastry has grown from a small, humble commercial bakery to become a leading manufacturer of cakes, pastries and other desserts for every retail and food service need. We are a classic tale of hard work, perseverance and adaptability, which is why some of North America’s largest retailers and providers like Costco, Walmart, Safeway, Loblaws, Sysco and Gordon Food Service, amongst others, trust us to support their bakery programs.
Based in Mississauga, Ontario, just outside of Toronto – one of the most multicultural cities in the world – we draw inspiration from the incredibly diverse cultural and food scene around us to create unique, innovative and internationally-inspired flavor profiles for the masses. Our Quality Assurance
Our state-of-the-art facility occupying over 120,000 square feet has been a key to our success, maximizing value for our customers in any way we can. From mixing to baking, decorating to packaging and warehousing to shipping, we employ the most advanced machines wherever possible to support our robust staff of over 200 dessert artisans who are drizzling chocolate and hand-piping rosettes to deliver consistently great-tasting desserts with handcrafted quality.
We are SQF (Safe Quality Food) Level 2, GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) and HACCP certified based on our food safety and quality standards. In addition, we are compliant with CFIA and FDA standards, as well as 2nd-party audits from all major chain retailers, like Costco.
Our Innovation Capabilities
Our dedicated research and development team features a full-time R&D pastry chefs, food scientist and external consultants that are constantly exploring improved recipes, new formulations and unique product innovations for our assortment. Our advanced oven technology, customized robotics and automation gives us an edge over other manufacturers as they allow us to create desserts from concept to tasting in as little as 30 days, giving our customers an incredible competitive advantage in bringing new, exciting items to their customers. We participate in private label programs to work with customers who seek new innovative products or existing goods.

Our facility and product use milk, egg, soy, wheat, soy and tree nuts (coconut), and may contain traces of sulphite, sesame and peanuts. To understand each specific product, please refer to our allergen labels on our finished good packaging.
We do use gelatin in our goods.
With the exception of our seasonal Tiramisu bar cake, our products are not kosher certified.
